ACESSIBILITY STATEMENT

1. Our Accessibility Commitment

Rivergum Range aims to provide a website experience that is clear, practical, and accessible.

We work towards following recognised accessibility principles, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. WCAG 2.2 is organised around making web content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, with success criteria at levels A, AA, and AAA.

Where possible, we aim to support WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards.

  • supporting keyboard navigation where possible;

  • avoiding unnecessary movement, flashing, or distracting effects;

  • making contact options available if customers need help.

We aim for our website to work with commonly used assistive technologies, including:

  • screen magnifiers;

  • keyboard-only navigation;

  • voice control tools;

  • mobile accessibility features;

  • browser zoom and text scaling.

Because technology, browsers, website platforms, and assistive tools change over time, some issues may still occur.

Rivergum Range sells visual products, including furniture, fabrics, partitions, ottomans, bean bags, and design-based products.

We aim to provide helpful product names, descriptions, sizes, materials, and other written information so customers are not relying only on images.

We aim to make our own content accessible where practical. However, some third-party systems or older documents may not fully meet accessibility standards.

Rivergum Range will continue working to improve website accessibility as we update products, pages, images, content, and website features.

When developing or updating web content, W3C encourages using the most recent version of WCAG where possible.

8. Known Limitations

While we aim to make our website accessible, there may be some areas that are not yet fully accessible, including:

  • older images without full alternative text;

  • third-party plugins or tools;

  • PDF brochures or supplier documents;

  • embedded forms or checkout features;

  • colour variations that may be difficult to describe fully in text;

  • product images where appearance, fabric texture, or artwork detail is visually complex.
